Below is the web site of a lovely lady met just in my day to day meanderings with friends. She owns a guesthouse in York and is trying to raise funds for the charity Narcolepsy UK so instead of Jaquielawson give this a go.
Narcolepsy is a Cinderella illness, misunderstood by many, mocked and laughed at by some, and subject to no targets in the health service. It is imperative that people with narcolepsy be referred to a specialist sleep centre as quickly as possible and that professionals in all fields are trained in how to treat people with the condition. The charity Narcolepsy UK needs money to set up support groups for sufferers around the country and to carry out a massive educational campaign amongst health professionals, teachers and the general public. Ideally we would like specialists trained in counselling, advice and support for narcoleptics too.
